(June 22, 2011)Yes, the turbines are facing opposite directions. This is because the larger one only turns when the wind is really blowing, but this problem has since been fixed! See Installing the lock collars and nylon washers on YouTube. The smaller one turns with the slightest wind whether it produces or not.
