We were given models/scenes to light. We were to do our own UV mapping and texturing from assignment 6 onward. If you’re scratching you head wondering, “Didn’t you do this back in Fall 2008 at Collin College?,” the answer is yes. But for some reason, (curriculum, upper management, greed), none of those classes even transferred as one class to UTD.

Assignment 10

Assignment 10

The initial assignment was to make everything with procedural or generated textures except for the sign text. Then we could also use an image for the palm leaf, but I still tried to make use of the procedurals. Maya procedurals don’t seem very easy to use (along with just about everything else in Maya).
